Our founder's Lebanese grandmother (Sitti) passed down this recipe for her style za'atar. It differs from most za'atar available today as it is premixed with sumac, giving it a round tart flavor profile.
HOW TO ENJOY:
Our za'atar is meant to be used in a variety of ways, you can mix with olive oil and use as a dip or marinade, sprinkle it on avocado toast, sizzle it up with your eggs or garnish your fruit and yogurt parfait.

We’re a Lebanese-American company bringing you our grandmother's za’atar blend. Our za’atar differs from others through the pronounced flavors of sumac, a staple in Lebanese blends. Rhus, the Latin genus for sumac, provides an authentic path into our kitchen.
A versatile spice mix like Rhus is hard to find—no fillers or short-cuts. While traditionally used in Lebanon to make manoushe (za’atar flatbread), Rhus is perfect for elevating any dish, from eggs to popcorn, dressings to dips.
