This summer, Bubble Goods had the incredible opportunity to make a donation to Mo's Cupboard, a remarkable food program at Moravian University, a Certified Food Secure Campus in Pennsylvania. Mo’s Cupboard provides shelf-stable food items, toiletries, dorm and cleaning supplies to any Moravian University, Graduate, or Seminary students in need.
According to the Pennsylvania Department of Education, “Over one-third of students know someone who dropped out of college due to food insecurity during the pandemic. Roughly 52% of students who faced food or housing insecurity in 2020 did not apply for support because they did not know how. Colleges and universities across the country are taking steps to address these issues so students can focus on their education instead of where to find their next meal."

In order to sell on Bubble Goods, food brands must send through samples of their products for approval. This process, while crucial to the Bubble Goods mission, can sometimes create an overflow of items at the Bubble Goods HQ. On this donation drop-off, Bubble Goods was able to donate over 100+ food items to Mo’s Cupboard of surplus samples from their NYC offices!
Bubble Goods is on a mission to bridge access to healthy and nutritious food, and Mo's Cupboard shares this very sentiment. Working with the dedicated team at Moravian University’s Mo’s Cupboard was an absolute pleasure, and the Bubble Goods team is excited to continue contributing to their mission of alleviating food insecurity among students.
