At Balakian Farms we believe that all tomatoes are created equal no matter their shape, size or color. We create our Organic Blended Heirloom Tomatoes using an Armenian, family recipe passed down through generations. Each blend has a unique taste, and can be used ounce-for-ounce in any recipe that calls for fresh or canned tomatoes. It’s like a ripe & juicy heirloom tomato in a jar. Yum! HOW TO ENJOY:
In our blended heirloom tomatoes we keep all of the tomato juices, giving our product more versatility in the kitchen. More juice means better taste and higher nutrient value. When cooking, it is recommended that you reduce to your desired consistency. This not only intensifies the flavor but it also brings out all of the natural sweetness from the heirloom tomatoes. Use for sauces, soups, sautés, bakes and more.

Balakian Farms was founded in 1925 by Zadig Balakian, an immigrant from Armenia. Owners of the farm are members of the Balakian Family. Farming is more than an occupation for Balakian Farms: it is a way of life.
