Our story begins with Great Grandma Paulina, whose love for southern Italian cooking became the heartbeat of our family. Her treasured recipes took two paths: one through Aunt Anna, who married into the Rao family and inspired one of New York’s most iconic restaurants, and the other through our grandmother and mother, who kept Paulina’s originals alive. In 2018, we launched Pellegrino’s® to share those flavors with the world.Pellegrino’s® is an independent company and is not affiliated with Rao’s or its business operations. Our connection is purely one of family heritage and shared tradition.
