ABOUT:
100% rendered Pork Lard from our pasture raised Kune Kune pigs. Raised on a 100% Certified Organic pasture, these pigs roam freely on our 36 acre farm eating grass and digging up insects and acorns. We supplement their diet with Organic "Payback" Hog Grower feed and food scraps. Kune Kune pigs are a grass-fed pig breed in New Zealand. They are a small and round, friendly breed that produce a lot of lard fat. We love them!
HOW TO ENJOY:
Can be used for roasting, grilling, sautéing, frying, and baking. In its solid form it can be used just like butter or shortening and added to baking recipes.

Klickitat Canyon Winery is a small family owned and operated farm. Started as a European inspired winery in 1993 producing unprocessed wines. We have always sourced our grapes locally from the Columbia River Gorge and our motto has always been simple - no preservatives!
Now we produce wine, infused vinegars, fava bean hummus, seasonally inspired pesto, vegetables, pork, and chicken. We maintain our commitment to organic certification and sourcing our ingredients local and fresh. Only whole, in-season ingredients are used in our products which means they are seasonal and fresh!
