Amy Dell founded Sababa Foods in 2024, inspired by her father, a former chef and restaurateur, whose matbucha was a family staple. As she grew older, Amy continued to make this dish, cooking in large batches and freezing it for convenience. Impelled to share the recipe, she created Sababa Foods to offer authentic Middle Eastern dishes with a modern twist. Their signature Saturday Sauce, made in small batches with love, features fresh, natural ingredients, including select organic ones chosen with the EWG’s Dirty Dozen in mind.
