Recently, the Bubble Goods team took a trip to our office in Princeton, New Jersey to have some face-time with our colleagues and check out the Princeton Farmers Market! These market visits are our way of staying close to the community we serve and discovering the next success stories on our platform.
The Princeton Farmers Market is home to over 20 vendors, ranging from flowers to jams and peanut butters to prepared foods. One of our current sellers, Nutty Novelties, already sells at the market and we wanted to say hello in person! We met Jesse Mangum, one of the founders, and tried a spread of innovative peanut butters. The honey-habanero was a team favorite—exactly the kind of flavor profile that shows why small-batch makers can create products that mass manufacturers simply can't replicate.
As we explored, we were also introduced to many new brands using amazing homegrown or locally sourced ingredients to create delicious goods that we hope to have on Bubble Goods soon. From an olive oil vendor who lives in Greece seven months out of the year harvesting oil to a jam maker forced to learn off-the-grid food making after Hurricane Sandy, we witnessed the exciting next-ups in small-scale food production.
A special thank-you to all of the vendors we met for giving us not only their time but also allowing us to try some truly unique homemade goods! To our customers, as always, we do work like this to ensure only the highest quality food reaches your plate. We are looking forward to visiting more markets as the year continues... Fall Farmers Market adventure, anyone?
