This is such a lovely coffee. I’ve had the pleasure of trying it as both a pour over and on drip as well. Some anaerobic coffees can do too much. The process yields really funky, fruity flavors, which, while exciting, can cause fatigue if you’re drinking a full cup. This coffee stays in the pocket, straightforward enough to entice the less adventurous drinker with enough flash to impress aficionados. Big fan of this one.

Easy to go overboard with anaerobic coffees. Interesting for a sip but exhausting in a full cup. Unlike others, Cherry Pick takes a balanced approach, experimental and one that you want to drink every day. When you first open the bag, you get that typical anaerobic punch. But nothing typical about it once brewed. Brewing it in my drip machine, brought out what the coffee is really about. There is this nice tangy sweetness right from the first sip – fruit-forward and rich.
