Savory Flaxseed Spread with Sun-dried Tomatoes®

I’ve never had a flaxseed spread before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect! But this tastes like other sundried tomato spreads I’ve had before, just a whole lot less oily and a lot healthier. I spread it over sourdough bread and it tasted great! I also used it when making a veggie sandwich and loved it. I love the easy to use single-serve pouches as well. Definitely worth trying!

Very pleased with the "Laxmi’s Delights Savory Flaxseed Spread with Sun-dried Tomatoes - slightly spicy | Organic, Vegan, Gluten Free, Dairy Free, All Natural, Non-GMO | Plant-based Omega 3s Superfood | 12-pack, 1.06 oz squeeze packets". They are delicious! I almost wish I didn't like them so much because they do have 180mg of sodium but that is workable. The fact that they are in individual pouches makes it perfect because it's premeasured. They are easy to open. I have an abnormally high tolerance for spicy foods, so I do not find them too spicy. But I do get the wonderful flavor and know the spiciness is there. I have been eating flaxseeds for years and this is probably the best tasting way I have eaten them. I appreciate the nutritional panel and ingredients shown on the listing match what I received. I received my box of 12 in June 2024. Their best by date is 02/27/2029. Made in USA.

I am surprised by how much I like this! I didn't expect it to have this much flavor. I can see a lot of potential uses for this. I like it with sandwiches and charcuterie boards. I also like to spread it on various things just to see how good it tastes. I think that this is a very complex and flavorful spread. It has lots of spices and zest without much heat. I barely got any heat from it, but I know that some people can't take any, so I would think that this might be labeled as medium instead of mild. I like the convenience of the packets, but I would appreciate it coming in a jar. I tend to need a different amount than what comes in a packet, so I often have to tape one shut. I also think that would make it better for an addition to meals. It could probably be good as the base of a sauce. Right now this is more of a snack or appetizer item. It is very delicious!

While walking the aisles of Wegmans yesterday I came across this product, and after reading the back I thought, "hey, this sounds kind of good!" When I got back I tried it instantly on a multigrain cracker and all I could think was WOW! The spread is a little sweet, a little spicy, a little savory, and could honestly go with just about anything. I can even imagine using this as an addition to my chicken marinade, or on top of baked salmon. The possibilities truly are endless, and the best part is that this product is actually healthy. So if you have the chance to buy this, you really have to give it a try - you will NOT regret it!
