Blueberry Liège Vafels - Plant-Based Belgian Waffles

Vafels was founded in 2018, and we created our Original Liège Vafels to fuel the cyclists who attended our monthly 'Supertraining' charity rides with a 100% plant-based, real food alternative to over-processed energy bars and gels.

We were introduced to the Liège Wafel — a brioche-based dough and pearl sugar-infused snack — as cyclists racing in Belgium where wafel carts line the streets. Vafels are a modern take on a centuries-old tradition, handmade with the highest quality plant-based, ethically & environmentally conscious ingredients to fuel the human body.
