At Ahara Rasa Ghee, we believe food is more than nourishment; it is connection, tradition, and care. Our name, Ahara Rasa (Ah-hah-rah Ruh-Sah), comes from Sanskrit and means “the essence of food,” the subtle energy we receive when digestion is strong and nourishment is complete.
We are a small batch ghee business based in the Pacific Northwest, guided by Indian heritage. Ghee making is part of our cultural story, passed down through generations. Ahara Rasa Ghee is strictly made the traditional way, over an open flame. Our flavors are crafted with care to bring warmth and depth to every kitchen.

Elevated cooking
The Brown Butter Ghee was a pleasure to bake with from the creamy texture to its warm nutty flavor. It adds something boring old butter is missing by boosting the flavor profile of the whole dish. Love it!
