Just as the Cajuns and Creoles have the holy trinity of bell pepper, celery and onion, West Africans have the holy trinity of chili pepper, ginger and onion. Our founder Abena, who was born in Ghana, started POKS Spices with the mission to introduce the American home cook to West African flavors and the West African holy trinity of spices, through award winning West African Seasonings.
