Better Carob was founded by Cathy Babaian who wanted a healthy and organic chocolate bar alternative. Better Carob is certified organic and vegan, using only the highest quality ingredients. Better Carob does not use palm oil because of the devastating effects that palm oil production has on the environment.

Fun Fact:

In ancient times, before scales and units of mass were invented, diamond traders compared the weight of a diamond to the seeds of the Carob tree. Thus the word carat came to be.
