Tupelo is a rare and wonderful honey produced from the White Ogeechee Tupelo Tree (nyssa ogeche). The White Tupelo is predominantly found in North Florida where it prefers the moist climate of river banks and basins of the rivers that flow into the Gulf of Mexico. The bees that produce Orchard Pond Tupelo Honey are kept on our land for about six months throughout the year, where the strength and health of the hives can be safely built up, without the risk of pesticides or GMO plants.
